The EZ-Sitebuilder program was introduced in 2002 as a creation of Digital Slant (now Advent Creative), a northern Utah advertising agency, as a way to standardize the web development process for the in-house development team. It was quickly realized that this foundation could be used by all small businesses to create great looking websites without needing to understand complex programming.
In 2004, the company spun off from Digital Slant and a major overhaul to the program was initiated. By 2005, the overhaul was completed and the program was named MARC (for Marketing Administration and Resource Center). At this same time a number of specialty sites were launched to highlight the many special features of the program.
In 2006, we launched our partner program by creating the first of our many private labeled sites run exclusively on our website builder platform. Our partners were able to offer a website builder tailored to their customers, while we provided the technical support. This allowed our customer base to grow exponentially. Today, thousands of businesses use the program to manage their websites.
In 2008, another major overhaul was completed. This current version of the program is the most robust, yet user-friendly website builder available. Every account can quickly and easily become a private label website builder. Adding e-commerce features is a click away!
